On 28-29 July 2018, FLIGHT Executive Director Marison Guciano made a visit to North Sumatra, at the invitation of the Orangutan Care Foundation of Indonesia (OCFI). He saw to 3 events, first; Signing a cooperation agreement between FLIGHT and OCFI to collaborate on bringing to fruition a number of wildlife rescue schemes in Sumatra. Secondly, Marison provided training on wildlife trade investigations to OCFI staff. And thirdly; he planted trees in the village of Lau Lamak, North Sumatra. These trees are not only useful as habitats for orangutans, but also for the birds.
