FLIGHT is committed to rescuing and monitoring confiscated birds that have been released to their natural habitat. We want to save Indonesia’s birds from illegal wildlife trade and collaborating with government authorities to save wild birds from poachers and illegal traders. Birds are meant to fly freely, not locked in a cage for the rest of their life.

FLIGHT’s actions to keep our commitment going are by doing routine monitoring and patrol. We keep track of the perpetrators whose on the way to smuggle and/or trade birds almost every single day. It is a dangerous job, but FLIGHT will do anything at our best to conserve Indonesian Birds. We also do monitoring every week at the places where we released the confiscated birds to keep contact with the condition of the released birds. To support this activity, we even build our own Monitoring Post.
