The Naval Military Police ranks of the Military Sea Cross Command (Kolinlamil), held a Functional Exercise and Socialisation of Awareness and Save Wildlife in Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and FLIGHT: Protecting Indonesia’s Birds, which was opened directly by Commander of the Military Police of Kolinlamil Lieutenant Colonel Laut (PM) James Risky, S.T., M.Tr.Opsla, located at the Natuna Sea Building, Command Headquarter at Kolinlamil Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.
The activity, which was attended by Kolinlamil Soldiers and Civil Servants, aims to increase awareness and understanding of soldiers, the community as well as related parties of the importance of complying with regulations on the protection of wildlife and this socialisation is a special instruction from the TNI Commander and Chief of Naval Staff. In addition, the Navy as the main component of maritime defence, is expected to support efforts to conserve plants and wildlife on water transportation routes.
The speakers at the event were Ministry of Environment and Forestry staff Mr Krismanko Padang, S.H., M.H and Nabila Fatma, Director of Communications at Flight: Protecting Indonesia’s Birds.
