On Thusday, 12 July 2018, Seizure of protected bird species from a seller in Sukabumi by the police and supported by FLIGHT. The animals seized were 2 crested serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela), 1 Changable Hawk Eagle (Nisaetus cirrhatus) and 11 individuals from the sunbird Family. Seized birds were found in poor conditions, with loss of feathers, and one with a wound on its head.
On 16 July 2018, the birds have been safely transported to Cikananga Wildlife Center for Rehabilitation.
